Location ideas for your brand session (besides the studio!)

I’m a big fan of Photography studios! Most of them are stunning, with excellent natural light. But they are not necessary to create beautiful brand images. And if your home is not photo-ready, too dark or too small, don’t sweat it! There are many locations you might not have thought about that could be perfect for your session!

Your Condo Party Room

As a resident, you already have access to a beautifully decorated condo party room which is the perfect location to capture different backdrops for your session.

Your Alma mater

Depending on the industry you're in and the vibe of your brand, your old college or university could be perfect for a session. As an alumnus, you could request permission to shoot on campus like the one below.

Coffee Shops

If you are on friendly terms with the owner of your local cute coffee shop, you can ask permission to shoot near the windows and tag them in the final photos. With many of us regularly working in coffee shops, it’s a natural location to capture some images.

The Great Outdoors

From funky urban neighbourhoods to the city's financial heart to a beach or park, an outdoor location could be an excellent option for images that align with your brand.

Borrow A Home

Whether it's your friend's home, your sister's place or an Airbnb that allows photoshoots, someone else's place could be perfect for your brand photos and save you money simultaneously.

Coworking space

If you are already a member of a coworking space, getting permission to do a shoot here could be much easier than you think. Plus, Coworking spaces are almost always beautifully styled.

There are so many possibilities regarding the location for a brand shoot. And If you're ready to start planning your new website or relaunch, don't hesitate to contact me for a free consultation call!
