Five creative ways to use your brand photos now (beyond just your website).

You don’t need to wait until January to give your brand a full-on shakeup. September is the perfect time for a 4th quarter refresh as you push toward year-end. Here are five places you can add photos right now to boost your brand.

Canva is the place to find a lot of the templates shared below. This post is not sponsored, but Canva is my go-to place to create almost everything I need, and where you can create everything on the list below.

  1. Your Email Signature

Updating your email signature with a photo is a simple but effective way to boost brand recognition. A personalized photo in your signature adds a human touch and makes your emails more memorable. You can use Canva’s free templates to create a professional-looking signature or ask your web designer to create a clickable HTML version that you can embed into your CRM.

2. Your Business Card

Adding your face to your business card can help you stand out in a stack of cards. A photo can make you more recognizable and leave a lasting impression, especially in networking situations. For example, my mortgage agent client, Jessica Norris, uses her photo on her business card to create a more personalized connection.

3. Your LinkedIn Banner

Instead of leaving the default blank space above your profile photo, you can personalize your LinkedIn banner with one of your brand photos. Canva offers a wide range of LinkedIn banner templates that you can customize to make your profile more eye-catching and professional.

4. Podcast Show Notes

If you host a podcast, consider refreshing the visuals in your show notes or cover art with new brand photos. This change can help keep your content feeling fresh and inviting for your audience, giving them a reason to re-engage with your podcast content.

5. Black Friday Promo Material

It might feel early, but creating your Black Friday or holiday promo materials in advance will save time and reduce stress. Start designing now using one of your brand photos in Canva to create compelling promotional content that’s ready to go when the holiday season arrives.

Utilizing these strategies can help keep your brand fresh, visually appealing, and consistent across various platforms, making it more recognizable and engaging for your audience. Which of these will you try this fall? I’d love to know!
